... yes the OP was spot on ... the first element was that Chelsea were interested in Mahrez with the intimation that his going would herald the complete dismantling of our team - in marked contrast we have lost one very good player to one of the European heavy weights .... selling a player that cost us £6.5m for £30m .... disappointing yes ... but the rest have stayed to a man and have signed long term contracts ....
The second element, which impressively predicted that we might finish in the top four (given that we were top of the pile in January), but less impressively had no mention of a possibility of actually winning the title (I wonder why

He did get one thing right ... that we are indeed unlikely to reach the same heights as last season ... retaining the EPL title is, after all, notoriously difficult .... but you have to win it first of course to be in the position to fail at that ...

Fosse you have to remember that most of the Liverpool posters on here aren't old enough to remember when they last won the title. As to the Spurs fans they have to ask their dads what is was like for Spurs to win a title.
