You have to ask yourself the question: what's more likely to happen, LCFC finish above Spurs or Spurs finish above Chelsea?
!
That isn't up to date.
The former, by a long way.
Tell The Sun, they published it a week ago...
Well there we go.Well there we go.
I'm not one for mentioning 'net' spend....
So, you have something more accurate, I assume?...
This thread was very accurate, and is very accurate. The spiral is happening in front of our eyes.
Could turn out to be the thread of the year
@Hoddle Is A God![]()
... yes the OP was spot on ... the first element was that Chelsea were interested in Mahrez with the intimation that his going would herald the complete dismantling of our team - in marked contrast we have lost one very good player to one of the European heavy weights .... selling a player that cost us £6.5m for £30m .... disappointing yes ... but the rest have stayed to a man and have signed long term contracts ....
), but less impressively had no mention of a possibility of actually winning the title (I wonder why
) was laughably short of the ultimate, awesome, achievement - the unthinkable for certain teams ... winning the EPL title of course.

The "spiral" refers both to the rise, this season, and to next season's inevitable fall.
It is my very firm opinion that a top 4 finish this season will come at the cost of complete and utter humiliation next season, in both the CL and the Prem.
In the CL, for example, even Leicester's fans cannot think that they, with their Wimbledon-esque brand of park-the-bus-then-hoof-it-up-the-park-for-Vardy football, is going to be anything other than the poorest grade of cannon-fodder for proper football teams?
Leicester would be better off starting out in the Europa League, and doing that for a few seasons, to prove that they have the credentials and consistency to mount an annual European campaign. It is not easy, as West Ham found out this season - and they were humiliated in the Europa ff!
The old saying is, that the faster they rise, the quicker they fall. Another is, the higher the climb, the harder the fall.
It's going to happen to Leicester City. We all know that, let's not pretend we don't. And sure - you can pay them all the patronizing plaudits you like, but that does not take anything away from my argument. They've capitalized in a season when so many teams have had their worst ever seasons! Well done to them, for that! But let's not pretend that this is anything other than a freak-season, particularly for Leicester City.

... the chances of this being thread of the year are way south of the likelihood of the Opening Poster yet again having a 'special' thread dedicated to his complete and utter humiliation at his predictions coming back to make him look like a complete fanny fart <again> ... his only consolation will be that there is no bet riding on any of it to further embarrass him ...
