I see Rashford taking all the headlines last night. A Hattie on his debut. Making it hard to ignore him for Jose and fat Sam. I'd love to see him start instead of Kane if we play with only 1 striker. Could work well with Rashford just behind Kane, in the same way it could work with Kane and Vardy. If we ever play 2 strikers.
Everything about Rashfords game last night was amazing! First goal was great pace and strength, second was a great technique. Pen was very confident. Kids going to be a star!
Not good news if it means Robbie 'ball-watcher' Brady is at left back ...again Michael Bailey @michaeljbailey Martin Olsson is the continuing doubt, while Alex Pritchard is still getting "up to speed" after his curtailed pre-season. #ncfc @pinkun
*Spoiler alert* If you participate in RER's 'guess the line ups' competition, don't click on this link. If not, straight from this afternoon's presser: http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/norwich-city-cardiff-city-team-news-3298179.aspx
Well, this is cheerful stuff. Roll on the January window opening for business! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p047bh7j
So much for spending all available monies on the first team ? There's something horribly wrong in the boardroom if we're that skint if you ask me. Edit:- At least we have a big telly in the corner of the stadium #deliaout
All we spent on players was the Remond money plus whatever Nelson cost. Plus agents and signing on fees. The joy of parachute payments, hey?
All I can say Cromer is that if we get many more no shows like Birmingham the natives will rightly turn nasty and you can't blame them either. I'm sure Dave will jump on here shortly to defend the old bird and the board.
I really cannot understand how we can openly fail in the Transfer window, and they admitted they were after targets still on deadline day....Then come out with that as a statement!? Also, why would you even mention it!? A lot of fans are on their back for failing to complete the transfers we needed. The window is now shut, January is months away. Why cause more worry and anger in the fans now?! Where was the 12M for McCormack going to come from!? Were they prepared to take the club into debt to get him?! Got Canos and Pritchard for the Redmond money. Spent 4-5 Million on Nelson. Where's the extra 8-9 Million that was going to go towards McCormack, and why were we still going after a Striker on Deadline day if we had no more money?! I know they wanted to offload some players like Laffs (probably a million or 2) Bassong (free). That money wouldn't have gone anywhere to get a goal scoring Striker!
I'm getting really pissed off with the club buying players who either aren't match fit/ready or injured. It's becoming laughable!
