GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Megan Giglia has won our first Gold medal, in (surprise surprise) the Women's C1-2-3 3,000m individual pursuit.

Overlap win. Bloody comfortable that.

GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Dame Sarah Storey has won Gold in the C5 3000m individual pursuit final, which makes her Britain's most successful female Paralympian with 12 Gold medals.

Crystal Lane won the Silver in this all-GB final.

GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Steve Bates and Adam Duggleby have won Gold in the Men's B 4,000m individual pursuit final.

Adam Duggleby is from Hull, by the way. Nice one lad.

GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Oliver Hynd has won Gold in the Men's 400m freestyle S8 final. Taken the World Record by a good couple of seconds too.

Are channel 4 taking the piss?
They have had plenty of time to fit in the gold medal cycling race but they would rather gob off about **** they have already talked about earlier.

They've put it on when there was time, remember there are events all the time and they don't have the capabilities BBC had - I'm fine with them waiting until there's a gap where no Brits are really competing.

Possibly but it's been a problem all through day 1. There has been plenty of sports going on and it's been a day of analysis and talking instead of actually watching sport.

I'm just finding it hugely frustrating.

GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Sophie Thornhill and Helen Scott have won Gold in the Women's B 1000m Time Trial.

Yep, another Gold in the velodrome, who'd've thunk it?
