Depends how fast you can swap the pitches.

Fullstop or at the stadium? I'm going to my first live one at the weekend, i'm intrigued whether it will be worse or better than on tv. At least at home during the breaks in play you get adverts and you can do other things while the game is on. I fear it could be pretty dull actually at the stadium. Although i guess a lot of people like it so it can't be that bad, right?

Just hide in the toilet after the first game, save buying a ticket?

I've never watched one full stop. I've caught glimpses of a match on TV and on the big screens in the sports bar up Leicester Square casino but never seen a full 90 mins (is it even 90 mins? Lol). My mate follows it a bit, can't say who he supports but there is a side he takes a keen interest in.

Go and watch some rugby union. Cheaper and infinitely better to watch.

So if you go for a NFL 7pm ko for 10pm finish, you would probably need a midday
football ko to allow for time to swap pitches etc.

Well, not really true considering the NFL ticket was given to me for free and the plane ticket to go to a rugby union game would dwarf even the price of an NFL season ticket

Timeouts for adverts. Timeouts for tactics. Pauses in play so they can choose what to do because creativity and ad-hocness is not something valued in NFL players. It's basically a very slow game.

MMA is my other love when it comes to Sport. Get a good 6-7 hours of (usually) top fights. Was at the Bellator show the other month, met Michael Page outside the O2 just hours before he done this (excuse the OTT pokemon celebration):

Ah, yes that would make a difference. I know NFL tickets are like rocking horse ****. It's the one American sport that I just don't get as a spectator sport. I like the others, particularly baseball.

The clock is only on when the ball is in play within the field. If the same was true for football each half would only be about 25-30 mins I reckon.

My opinion maybe 15 years ago was:
Basketball > baseball > NFL > ice hockey

But i've completely changed my mind, especially since spending more time here and eventually moving here to:
Ice hockey > NFL > Basketball > baseball

I watched a little baseball on BT Sports the other day (it was a slow night on TV) and that is beyond tedious. Most of the pitches (by which I mean throws) were out of the zone and so had to be retaken, and any hits went about 30 yards. All done really, really slowly. And they say Cricket is dull!

It seems that certain parts of the stadium can be assembled very quickly indeed once
    the pre-requisites are done.

Can anyone corroborate a story that Levy has had to buy those construction
cranes because he was not able to get them on hire ??

If true, perhaps we should start singing :

:emoticon-0159-musicThey're all of our own, they're all of our own.
The Harry Cranes, they're all of our own.
