Because then your best prospects piss off to Italy and you have to pay £100m to get them back. Rafael out of position isn't the best solution though, is it? Pogba didn't even get time from the bench.
Would that be the Rafael that played out of position in the cup trouncing of Arsenal? seemed a pretty good solution then
Just finished watching Belarussia v France.Reminded me of those league games late 60's and early 70's between Leeds,Liverpool and Arsenal.Hacking each other to death for a 0-0 result.Giroud did a wonderful impression of Soldado missing 3 certs. France didn't miss Lloris.Their replacement was almost unemployed.
The real reason Wilshere is there is to scout Howe. Plenty of time to do that when he's on the sidelines injured.
It's all a secret ploy by the Arsenal board to scout Howe. Wilshere never plays, so he'll have plenty of time to sit around and watch Howe. My tinfoil hat is firmly on. Trust me lads it's a conspiracy. The Sun says it's true, so it must be!
Your plot falls down when you consider that a scout must be insightful and able to express himself clearly. "He's a geezer" is not going to fit the bit as an astute bit of scouting. We'll just have to settle on Wenger wanting shot of the twat.
Thought they must have some sort of communication method with Wilshere that involves grunts and various squiggles on a bit of paper. Throw him a few packs of ciggies for good measure too.
From a purely business perspective there is no arguing that the Pogba transfer was a bad deal. You let (yes, the player has a say, but this is business perspective) an asset go for next to nothing and then bought that same (yes, improved) asset back 4 years later for a massive fee. The complete opposite can be said for the David Luiz transfer from/to Chelsea (although maybe not improved). Yeah, he'll make back some/all of that transfer fee in shirt sales but he might have purely made that same amount in shirt sales had he remained at the club in the first place. I have a feeling however that the Pogba and Luiz transfers will probably be viewed differently in a few years with Pogba looking like a "bargain" (eugh, £90m a bargain!) and Luiz looking like a waste of £34m despite him being bought back cheaper than he was sold.
Sky Sports suggesting Arsenal are negotiating a new deal for Jack? Really? I mean, REALLY? I am put in mind of his new team mate, Charlie Daniels', big hit: "The devil went down to Bournemouth, He was looking for a wage to steal, He was in a cast, With his ankles made of glass, And his favourite chair's on wheels."
Wenger remembered there was no need to go after that gobby chav scrote Jamie "Loyalty" Vardy - he already had a gobby chav scrote at the club.
Accused of chronic maltreatment of staff and working hours? Accused of paying staff illegally low wages and forcing them to work illegally long hours? Trying to safe face, make amends and improve company relations? HINT: Do NOT then turn up at one of your warehouses with a thick wad of £50 notes in your pocket and proceed to flourish it as you go through security past goggle-eyed employees who have probably never seen that much money in one place in their lives. Way to go, boss of the year Mike Ashley http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/headlines/37299844
