Don't you remember all the discussions last time in the pl about Abel being more of a left sided forward. Dunno why people aren't grasping this. I said if we keep the same system, then you'd drop dio and play Abel there and mbokani down the middle. It doesn't mean Abel as a wide man can't ever get in the box. He's there to tie up their rb, as dio has done. Dio has also scored goals from that position.
Hi isn't a left sided forward, he doesn't track back like he would have to and he doesn't take players on. He is a central striker.

Leave Hernadndez where he is and play two up front.

Easy to say that but then who plays in midfield? Snodgrass and Mason surely have to play. Clucas and Huddlestone don't deserve to be dropped. Neither does Meyler arguably. Oh and there's Henriksen too who's meant to be brilliant. Are we really going to leave 2-3 of those out and change the formation just to shoe-horn in a partner for Hernandez - a partner he doesn't even particularly look like needing at the moment.

For me, Henriksen and Mason should be the only ones with a shout at startinn against Burnley assuming everyone is fit.

Marshall?

Forgot about him. I completely agree he should be first choice, although I'm finding it hard to disagree with the posts on the Burnley thread that we should go unchanged regardless of who the best players actually are.

Don't understand how people struggle with names like that. Odubajo and Mbokani are almost said exactly how they're spelt, from a phonetics standpoint.

Odubajo should be no more difficult to say than Elmohamady for example. Similarly Mbokani should be no more difficult to say than McGregor.

Is it just 'banter', ie, a whoosh moment for me, or a genuine case of struggling to say their names a la Paul Merson?

I work with a lot of people from overseas and have always felt it would be disrespectful to say their name incorrectly.

Not banter from me. Onion bhaji is one of my favourite players. I am sure that "man in a bikini" can be just as popular.

I also work with overseas guys. I call Benii from Nigeria blackie and he calls me pinky. We have total respect for each other. He also calls me blue when I'm cold. Greeny when I'm feeling ill and browny if I've managed to get a tan. Basically he takes the Micky out of me. Top man is Benii

Weird point oddly made.

You're right its not banter. Its not funny either. In fact calling him onion bhaji makes you look like a ****. A stupid **** at that.
I'm with Chazz on this except for the stupid **** bit. It makes you look like a stupid, patronizing ****.

Stop focusing on who doesn't deserve to be left out and concentrate on picking the right team and formation to beat Burnley.

I think they're basically the same thing under the circumstances.
