Maybe JFH has his eye on a freebie for RB? Been taking a look around to try and find a comprehensive list of who is actually available on a free...some decent players around, although lots the wrong side of 30. Link below if anyone fancies taking a look... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/vertragslosespieler
It baffles me that a player of Hoilett's class isn't wanted by anyone at all. You'd have thought top clubs would queue up for a left winger with no left foot who can't cross and scores from one curled shot to the far post every 50 attempts. Shame on these clubs for this oversight.
The list of players we were linked with but never got. Quite interesting. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/potential-qpr-transfer-deals-didnt-happen-summer
Cheers Ellers for posting, interesting reading..............good to see that we aren't going to be taken for mugs again and pay over the odds........ Fair play to JFH, LF & LH for the work done during the summer, I like what has been achieved this time. One other thing I had a quick look on the Newcastle board and they have a thread going about what players they have now will they be keeping in the Premier League next season? Now if that's not a reason for wanting them to fail I don't know what is....... Up the R's
Thanks Ellers for posting that. Of all of those the one that I'm really glad didn't happen is Bamford, I just don't rate him at all.
not happy about the quality of strikers other teams such as Villa/Blackburn/Cardiff/Barnsley/Fulham etc have got. Guess we have to live with it ,given our pay structure but that's the way to get out of this division.
The grass may not be greener on the other side. Quite how Villa expect it to work with Kodija (£10m+), McCormack (£12m), Gestede (£6m) and Ayew (£8.4m) I'm not sure.
Not quiet sure what you're getting at here? Villa have paid over the odds for their acquisitions and will have 1 or 2 unhappy souls on the bench who think they really should be playing.........too many egos. Blackburn are rock bottom and with owners looking to sell and a manager who blames everyone else in situ they are only going one way. Cardiff are mid table at best. So out of those 5 clubs only Barnsley and Fulham might have a better strike force than us......In fact IMO Barnsley could be a good shout for a play off spot. Fulham have a canny manager and may do well also, he got Watford out of this division and was then sacked. We don't have the spending power of the likes of Newcastle, Villa or Norwich, BTW the canaries fans are not impressed with their lot either at the moment and believe the manager is on borrowed time..........hopefully everyone will raise their game against Newcastle and knock the arrogance out of their fans who seem to think they shouldn't be in this division. Overall we've done well and could well push on for a play off place ourselves this season........
