"Thudd and Meyler will probably benefit from a rest between games, Jake's a beast and Clucas is young enough so I would have thought everyone will welcome the options of cover for injuries/suspensions/rest. They've all got a massive self-interest of course but it's better to be part of a decent squad than flogging yourself every game for a poorer one".
