In part because I always like that as a silly, fun risk (though it made more sense in the FL with only five subs), and in part because I'm not entirely convinced that one of our outfield players would be a worse option than Taylor.

And it's impossible for goalkeepers to get sent off now as long as they don't go on crazy adventures or drop any c-bombs. I don't know why we didn't just register Kelvin to play, he is better and still hanging around Staplewood.

Sounds like if he plays a certain number of games for them during that period, they activate a clause forcing them to sign him. Which you presume, is likely to be the case.

All a little weird.
 
Not a great day with no signings and Forster injury. But Everton and koeman getting absolutely mugged off has been a highlight.

Although part of me thinks that everton have dodged a bullet by not spending £30m on Sissoko!!
 
There I was, thinking this deadline day was rubbish. But that has cheered me right up.

The thought of the snakey Dutchman desperately trying to call him... :D hahaha

Indeed. As funny as it is, financially it's actually a great outcome for Everton.

I disagree, we have cover for CB's. How many out and out DM's do we have?

Though CB is going to be in issue next Summer with Jose being too old and in the likelihood that VVD will be off.

In that respect it would have been nice to sign a young one this Summer to give them a settling in season.
