Well what an anti climax. I feel that we needed to get some reinforcements in before the window shuts. I honestly think that we may have one of the weakest squads in the league now. Hull and Burnley aside.
I think that, Palace, WBA and Sunderland, have overtaken us now and we're in the mix to be relegated with Watford, Burnley, Hull, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth.
I hope I'm wrong but I just have a real bad feeling for this season. First time I've felt that we don't have a good enough team.

We will miss Ash though, but I expect the new CB's to be thrown into the mix sooner rather than later, the way Fed and Amat are playing, will be a long season though, just hope Baston gets off to a flying start..............
I was just thinking that we (the Club) haven't demonstrated as much ambition as we (the fans) would have expected - particularly given the transfer income we've received during 2016 from the sale of the likes of Shelvey, Ayew, Williams etc.
With Wilshere choosing Bournemouth, Hull & Burnley splashing the cash, are we viewed as the "smallest" club in the PL once again?

Baston is a decent player no doubt but, he's gonna have a lot of pressure put on him.

The point is this! who is going to have egg on their face, if this tight fisted policy goes nuclear? The boardroom is going to be a very steamy room this season me thinks.............
The minute Joe allen chose stoke over his own home team says it all for me and just to confirm how rubbish Jenkins is when our periodical son has chosen the same team to join on loan than come to us......We are so weak that we could easily end up whipping boys and getting very few points this season.....
Going to be some very embarrassing games at the Liberty this season, could even get a tad ugly for the boardroom, but no sympathy from me as they should have learned the lesson of last season.............
Not forgetting our "prodigal" son.....
