Indi can't defend. I have watched him loads as a mate of mine is a Lisbon fan. For a defender he is very poor at tackling oh and marking.

A disappointing deadline day to end a very disappointing transfer window.

Nope. Only for people that haven't watched him lately. He lives of his name more then how he plays footy. Of course he could suddenly become good, but he would need a hell of a lot of work.

A penny for Rickie Lamberts thoughts. I bet Cardiff wasn't part of the plan.

They aren't suddenly out of our league because they've signed two quality players. It's eleven against eleven and we still have a good team.

Sometimes footballers find the right club. I've always rated him. Were I a defender, Stoke would seem a good move. Certainly a better choice than us at present.

Not 100% but it's hardly "very disappointing". Boufal is hugely talented. Redmond is a good signing.

It' too early to tell whether the window was a success or not. We haven't seen Boufal in action yet, but judging by his youtube compilation he could potentially be our Mahrez. If he comes close to that standard, things would look very different. Hojbjerg is class, Redmond is also talented.

The main issues seems to be our formation.

Yeah and it's money the teams haven't really got but that's another tedious debate.

Bony and Martins Indi both loans. Kenedy to Watford is a good loan for them. Wilshere to Bournemouth?

Loans seem to be popping up, maybe we're not done yet?

Has the club stated this? I genuinely don't know.

and for second bold text bit

How many parallels do you think there really are here with the Lowe era? I know it was ****, but I didn't show as much interest then and peruse forums.

Signing 7 First Team players to new long terms contracts, whilst bringing in Hojbjerg, Redmond, Boufal, McCarthy etc has been a good window, yes. Always things that could be better, but they don't always work out that way. I'm happy with it overall.

Yes. The whole thing will implode on itself one day, until then a few people are becoming absurdly rich off it

Martins Indi needs to work on his car interviews...

Reporter: "What made you come here"
    Indi: "the small children here"

Yeah, okay, it is fans justifying the lack of spending by saying we have slent on contracts.

I find huge similarities between now and the Lowe era. Strachan got us to a record position and asked for funds to buy some player he'd seen for £1m called Drogba and was told we had a good enough squad and we should make use of the academy. Strachan got sick of it and left. Sound familiar?

Apparently since then we fans have rewritten the past and it was excessive spending which got us in financial trouble - when in fact it was lack of spending in the Premier League, followed by failure to rise back up, which destroyed us.
