Presume we're just waiting for the Sibley tweet to wrap things up now?

The only position I am a bit concerned about is Right Back, we are going with the same two players from last season and I thought that they were our weak link.
I think that we should've got a loan in to cover Pied's injury.

If we were playing West Ham or Stoke tomorrow, would we win?

Koeman leaving counts as part of this transfer window as well. We didn't have to let him go. Or having let him go, we didn't have to hire Puel. Or having hired Puel we could have brought in more players for him as a hedge against some of our players not being to his taste. I'm generally less angry/panicked about the diamond/Puel than most, but it does increase the risk.

And of course, if we had won our first 3 games comfortably, people would be happier with our summer dealings. I mean, why wouldn't they? It would have meant we'd played very well, instead of quite poorly.

I'm just saying... you can't just wish away the scary stuff that happened. We switched managers. We have no idea yet if our record-breaking transfer with maturity issues is any good. We have not played well. Those are all kind of big deals.

But to answer your hypothetical as you posed it... if Koeman were still in charge, and we'd made all the same player transfers and extensions I would still be somewhat disappointed.

More scared of them than Watford & Sunderland, that's for sure.

I think Bony and indy will fit in perfectly, come back and quote me if they crash and burn. Think Mark has added exactly what they needed.

We said that last season with Shaqiri and Imbula, hardly worked out too well for them.

Im very jealous of Bony. He is unplayable on his day. If we had signed him we'd all be massively excited. Oh well, can't compete with the big boys.

What ever happened to giving foreigners a season to bed in? That's always our excuse anyway! :)
