He just recently signed a new contract, so I would imagine if there is, it is a decent one. I hope. I pray. Please, God.
You have a database of over 250,000 players which have all been scouted. You send you team of 5 scouts to scout them and most of them players would be about 98 by the time they finished. You have a database of players who have all been scouted by actual scouts. You can then narrow down your search and that helps you draw up a shortlist of targets for you to send actual scouts to see. Final judgement is down to your competent or incompetent scouting team. - Players have bad attitudes - Have patches of good form - Struggle to adapt to new countries - Mental Health Problems - Family Problems - Injuries
The problem with the FM database is, back when I played it, that its balanced. Teams/players get relegated they suddenly get worse, they get promoted and all of a sudden they're better again. Whilst generally it will tell you what sort of player they are (a big target man will show in the stats with good aerial points) it has absolutely no representation as to how good a player might actually be.
I like the way the media are frantically trying to find out who the mysterious player City are talking to is Laugh if it is something concocted to give them something to do lol
He's the one who sliced open Gaston Ramirez's shin in Brighton promotion decider at Boro last May, and got sent off.
Plus, he could be with an international side away somewhere and medicals etc would need to be arranged
I always find it amazing just how players get their heads around being 2nd/3rd/4th choice when signing for a Club. I would be seriously pissed off and offended if I was told 'We will only pay and sign for you if we miss out on player X'.

I've accepted a job before knowing i was the second choice candidate. You just have to put your ego aside and think "this is an opportunity, press on". For a lot of players, simply getting put i the same bracket as bigger players and garnering interest from bigger clubs must feel amazing.
