Just got in from an absolutely ****ing brilliant night at Fruit New Orleans second line style brass band, Hot 8, playing. Honestly one of the best bands I've ever seen, loved it And drinking Flying Dog, Snake Dog IPA. Finished off with a glass of Jura Superstition scotch Life is good...but why haven't we signed anyone else while I've been out? Slackers
Who would we like to see signed tomorrow? Defensive cover at RB - Gunter Midfielder - Henriksen Winger - Gradel Striker - Ayew/Ulloa be happy with either of those.
A Man Utd player could be incoming tomorrow also an inquiry has been made at Man City, I think on the verge of the first team, maybe someone from the cup games but no idea who? Also anyone heard anything about a player from Scotland? Could be a striker from Celtic or Rangers?
If we're gonna stick with this 433/4321 formation, i can't believe we wouldn't have a wide forward as a priority
We're good for RW with Snod and Elmo. But desperately in need of a LW. Dio although looking quite good in the first two league games, looked out of his depth vs Utd. Jay Rod would be a perfect buy for that position. And I said last week if we were to miss out on him that Chadli would be brilliant. And we've missed out on him now. I'm expecting the unexpected tomorrow.
quick scan online, bullshit maybe rumours Pogba's brother apparently Enquirered about Matty James apparently from Leicester gradel mentioned already And someone from United
I would take bony but a loan move for iheanacho or whatever his name is would be excellent , he's a really promising striker
Doubt we'd land him, he plays a fair bit for their first team. It'd be like trying to get Rashford or Origi.
Few stabs in the dark here Man U: Would love it to be Jones but more realistically Fosu-Mensah? City: We were linked with Jason Denayer a few weeks ago maybe him? Scotland: Griffiths is the only one whose anywhere near good enough, and Celtic wouldn't sell him anyway
I think you have more chance of getting Jones on loan or sale than Big Tim. Jones is a good player but has been really held back through injury (most self inflicted because he is brave and puts his body on the line), a loan may do him good to curb his enthusiasm.
Man U would probably be Jones. Darmian has been told he's free to leave, suppose as a full back it's not impossible but his wages would be mental, would have to be a generous loan. None of the other players they have fit the bill, so it'll have to be one of those two. Man City I would think was Denayer, the rest of their fringe players have gone out on loan. Scotland there are a whole host of other options, it's not just about Celtic and Rangers up there. Griffiths has a decent goal scoring record, could be him but it'd be a big fee to tempt him away from a club in the Champion's League, even that club is Celtic. It could very well be Callum Paterson at Hearts, a RB attracting a lot of PL attention.
Bony, Navas, Nasri, etc. would still qualify as fringe for City and would be looking to be loaned out.
Several papers; Independent, Express, Star (the last one is garbage, they just recycled the Independent's news) have all stated that JM would be willing to do business over Darmian, figure somewhere between £16m and £20m.
