Watford have signed Kenedy on loan for the season. That's some damn fine transferring there, damn fine.
Congrats on landing Mason. I thought he'd pick Sunderland but perhaps linking up with Jake (they graduated from our academy together) clinched it for him. If he can recover his pre-injury form, you have a fine player on your books. Excellent engine, combative, eye for a pass and chips in with his fair share of goals. I can see him complementing THudd rather well With 4 ex-Spurs players and one ex-Spurs coach now at the Tigers, you've been my 'second' team for quite some time now. Same can be said for many Spurs fans I know - we even call you 'Hull Hotspurs'. Just bloody stay in the PL for more than a season so that we can watch more of you All jokes aside, best of luck this year - you've got off to a better than expected start and are finally showing ambition in the market.
Not sure who's come out on top... We got Huddlestone, Livermore, Dawson & now Mason from you... in return we've given you over £30 million... Levy is ****ing shrewd
Hi, I've just seen what an absolute mess you've made of the Hull board and that others can't see due to the mods continuous hard work today. Probably the most deleted crap that I've seen in a long while and one that would have littered and ruined this board if it was not for their intervention. So as site admin, you will not be waiting until he pops back for further debate and I now bid you goodbye from the forum until the mods decide otherwise. Now i will go and clear this crap from the database.
In fairness, if I recall correctly you redeemed yourselves by breaking it again later that season to sign the inimitable James Richard Bullard
We've broken our transfer record five times signing players from Spurs. Dean Marney, Anthony Gardner, Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and now Ryan Mason. Also, on another note, thank you brb for getting rid of that ****er.
It's somebody else he hasn't heard of, this time no random Portuguese fella will crop up to save his face by saying he's currently ****e, great signing for them
So the logic is, if they sound foreign they must be good? Or what? I'm not getting it. What about Jay Rodriguez? He sounds foreign but he's English and very good. Or Barry Maguire, who is Dutch but very average? Or Robert Cullen, he sounds English, but he plays for Japan? To be fair I looked up Aboubakar and he's not done as well in Portugal as I thought, HFFP was right on that, but before he went there he was very good. I don't see what being foreign has to do with it, if he was called Bill Smith he'd still be a great signing. I also don't get why Kenedy isn't a good signing for Watford, he was a shining light in an otherwise crap Chelsea season. Martins Indi has been the subject of offers from some pretty good clubs, that's usually a good indicator of how decent they are. He's prone to getting booked a lot though, so I won't be sticking him in my Fantasy Football team any time soon.
