Livermore is a bit one-paced I think to be described as a box to box player. He doesn't exactly explode with speed from defensive areas to join up with attacks.
The last time I remember seeing that was against Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi when he scored. He seems to be settling into a more defensive role now anyway.
Neither did Frank Lampard, you don't purely need pace to be box to box, but the stamina to keep with pace of game and cover ground. And no I am not comparing Livermore to Lampard
On the basis Marshall, Mason and Keane all sign on the dotted line, apart from the fact we've got three additional good footballers onboard, I'm confident that Mick and the players have all done their part to ensure we sign players who will 'fit in'. Marshall with his Scottish buddies, Mason with his pals from Spurs, and Keane knowing Mick from having worked together at Utd.
Frank Lampard was always bursting forward to join in with attacks, more often than not making runs ahead of his striker.
He ran to set it up then I think. edit, no I looked at the video not that game, must have been some other game.
