There's not many on that list that you think 'Wow'.

Hendrick and Mason would be OK and Marshall - but up front the names mentioned are all really risky. Goals are the business end of the pitch, again we're shopping in poundland.

We won't sign any "wow" players for another season and that depends on us staying up. Lesta had no wow players and they won the league. We need all of the players on the list posted by Rick whilst keeping the team spirit...

If the buyers buy the club for £100m but the rest of the world only thinks the club is only worth £40m then they will be very upset when they want to sell.
And how would this affect the sale if the price has been agreed?
I admit the buyers may be a little disappointed 3 years down the line but that is the nature of business.

They signed cambiasso the season they stayed up who was pretty wow.

I think you're confusing the two not me. The value of the painting is the sale price, which constitutes the market value + goodwill which is the intangible value that makes up the difference.
I think you are basing your comments on a basic accounting book and not a valuation book.

At which point goodwill gets written off. I think Pete is out of his depth.

And that's that.

Now back to transfers.

What's your thoughts on Keane?
Very good player at U21 level, in fact way too good for that. Has had very limited first team opportunity's and been very unlucky with injuries. If given a decent run in the first team I expect him do develop into a very good striker.

Do you know much about hernandez? Would Keane complement him?

I didn't say it would affect the sale. You don't seem to understand the issue here. I said that Syd works out valuation based on the accounting entries rather than an understanding of valuation. He's shown that he doesn't understand valuation by saying that if a type of painting is only worth £100k but one person stupidly pays £10m for a similar painting that it's suddenly worth £10m. This is even if it could only be sold for £100k.

Phelan worked with him at Manure and will know what he's capable of
