I would ordinarily find it hard to hate someone who is hated by so many gooners... but Nasri is extraordinarily hateable!

Here's I am thinking outside the box to solve the Eriksen question and you have to go get all arsenal tv on me...ungrateful bastard!

I prefer term-time RCL. I think the kids throwing urine-soaked socks at you keeps you sane. Next you'll be suggesting that we replace under-18 coach Kieran McKenna with Sol Campbell.

Was honestly only joking WY.
Him and RVP in a spurs shirt would stop me going!!!
Mind you, Hugo might well give him a slap or two as they have history from the French team.
Ever since he wasn't chosen for France prior to 2014 WC his career has gone rapidly down hill.

Now, reports suggest Son to Wolfsburg for €30m. Persinal terms already agreed.

We'll have no players left at this rate!

This was floating round on Friday, but €20m being the fee.
This can't happen if Chadli Mason and Njie are all going. We'll be up **** creek.

Son to Wolfsburg makes sense as one of those domino effects. Das Bost moved to Lisbon to replace Silmani who is off to Leicester so Wolsburg are in need of more men up front.

I'm thinking of giving Levy a call and offering my services as a slightly overweight central midfielder with a chronic achilles problem. A fre kebab after each game and petrol costs will clinch it for me.

You aware this is Daniel Levy you're talking about.

You'll be paying for your own damn petrol!

PSG are supposedly putting in a massive bid for Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg, which would explain why they've got loads of money.
Son's probably more of a replacement for Schurrle, in my opinion, but they'd need to do something to avoid pissing off the fans.

Yeah, totally. And just the sort of deal that Levy would do at the end of a window to make the balance sheet look amazing. But hopefully the sale of Chadli and Mason will do that. <yikes>

These days, it's very rare that an unheard of "deal" comes out of nowhere. Sky are all over it and any interest or bid is widely reported days or weeks before the signing eventually happens. - This is what concerns me with a few days left. There's no "SSN" rumours for any significant incomings. They aren't reporting Isco (because it's blatantly bullshit) and the only others are GKN (will it ever happen?), the goalkeeper and Zaha. Considering how many we've let go/are letting go, that for me is very underwhelming and quite frankly worrying. We're going into a CL campaign and are looking very thin on the ground right now, having lost prem experienced players, and soon to lose some more.
Some may say it's "levy time", but let's be realistic, he has that reputation from the VDV purchase which was a complete 1 off.

Last year, we thought that going into a season with 1 striker was shockingly bad, I have a feeling that this season we could have another set of problems.

Apparently U18 coach Kieran McKenna has left for Man United. - what is going on with all these departures? <yikes>

I am surprised this has taken so long to become public as he hasn't been at the club for weeks.

Some stats I've just seen:

Since Dembele returned from injury October 2015.
With Dembele: 23 PL games, 53 points, 2.3 PPG.
Without Dembele: 10 games, 9 points. 0.9 PPG

Wow. <yikes>

I can't understand how this hasn't been a priority for us in this window. Replacing him is pretty much impossible, but there must be other players out there with similar characteristics that mitigate the affect of dembele not being on the pitch.

I have that same cold sweat and sinking feeling that I get towards the end of every single window.

If there's a way to shoot ourselves in both feet and allow the wounds to become septic, we'll find it.

Levy being Levy + very little time = no required additions.

...But at least there'll be a lovely club statement about how far we've come over the last year and the profit the club has made. <ok>
