Ha. Quality! If it really was a liszt it would include Nikolic as a Hungarian Rhapsody.... ....I'll get me coat.
Your lot would have been delighted with "average" until the end of march season before last. If truth be known, some would have been happy with average before last weekend at leicester also. No guarantees you wont be aspiring to average over the next few years anyway. Wind yer neck in. Don't want an embarrassing avatar again now do we?
This article saying we've agreed a £1m fee with United for Will Keane, although it's also reporting yesterdays news regarding Hernandez http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
Seems a low fee for Keane but I'd be happy if we got him in. He'll struggle to get in front of Rashford.
Keane is a very good striker at U21 level but has not shown much in his (very limited) first team opportunity's. He certainly has the ability but maybe injury has set him and his confidence back a bit. He was well ahead of Rashford in his development (at the same age) but Rashford has been lucky enough to hit the first team running, Will may need time to adjust or maybe just a good debut.
Be interesting to know what our new budget is. Under the Allams it was supposed to be 18m. I've no idea if the transfers are true or not but Mason, Marshall & Kodija would be cost around 30m.
Anyone who plays clucas out wide is a clueless know nowt ****. As you say we should have clucas Livermore hudd and mason in a tight midfield diamond.
100% agree about Clucas, last season he played in this deep midfield role on one or two occassions, and it IMO is his best position, he is wasted out wide.
As I said, thought he got a fair few assists from out wide? Or was he playing more centrally at the time?
No idea how good he is but young players often don't seem to get an opportunity, same with us (unless we buy them with a 1st team place in mind)
He was much better when he played centrally last season, he has none of the attributes required for a winger, the only reason he ended up there was the fact he's left footed.
He was playing as a striker for Chesterfield wasn't he? Pretty interesting career trajectory. He looks brilliant as that pivot in midfield so maybe he's found his niche.
Thanks Stan. This is much better than reading about the balance sheet and assets etc. IMO when it starts getting tit for tat it needs taking to the pub.
