Got to love Twitter as the Transfer Window is getting closer to shutting. Apparently we have agreed a £25 million deal with guess who, yes Liverpool, to sell Bertrand.
They've made a bid for him. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. No idea if it's anywhere near our valuation or not though.
It's not the first time they've expressed an interest and we've turned them down previously. Can't understand why anything would have changed
If a silly offer came in for bertie like that I would take it, I do think that Ryan is better than Matt at the moment, but believe there would be little to choose from them if Matt played an entire season

Think joey is talking about the scousers making a bid for Bertrand. I wouldn't entertain it at this stage personally (if it is true). Too late and we're still trying to get a few over the line as it is, without adding a frantic search for a lb.
If we sell Bertrand to Liverpool just weeks after he signed a new deal and this close to the deadline then the board have lost the plot. No way have we got enough time to find a replacement and we can't have Targett as first choice.
