Some people are very good at spending other people's money. If Saints said we are going to double our ticket prices and use the extra money to buy an additional player funded by the fans our gates would plummet but it is OK for Kat to dip into her purse or bank account.

If we were throwing our money into a pit, of course. If I was going to get a healthy cut of the sales proceeds when the club sold, however, I'd happily sanction this fan contribution. She will, of course, be getting better proceeds herself if she keeps the club on an upward trajectory by investing her own money. No one's asking her to chuck it down the drain.

I would be very happy if we can bring in Boufal and Stanciu and keep hold of J Rod.
Would love another Defensive Mid but beggars can't be choosers. But if we can get the 2 in, I think we would have some if the best attacking options outside the top 3 or 4.

All of the major Belgian papers are stating that Stanciu has signed with Anderlecht, which will be announced tomorrow. That one appears to be dead.
