Might be a complete load of rubbish, but on Cardiff sites they saying that we paid Cardiff a £300,000 fee last January just to speak to Marshall first, if he became available.
No, it mentions attention turned to Hendrick having had issues agreeing terms with Ryan Mason. Henriksen seems the attacking midfielder replacement for Diame.

Would sooner have Hendrick than Mason, he looked quite a player when I saw him at the KC last season
If he was Prem quality a Prem team would have been in for him by now... Ultimately Derby yet again blew it ... Mason is England pedigree and for the extra money I'd much rather have him... this is a time for us to go forward and in attracting players like Mason will make it easier to attract others. IMHO
Would Derby still want him with signing vdyra from Watford ? Unless Martin is leaving rumour villa want him to
Derby have just signed Vydra- more likely that Kodija is off to Villa (sounds like he or Valencia are the back-up plan for Hernandez). As for Martin, he can hardly get round the pitch...no thanks.

Hendrick had a great Euros and would be a good purchase, better than Hughes, but Hendrick's currently injured I think. I like Nick Blackman at Derby, who I think would do okay in the prem with better players around him and a bit more space, but doubt if City would make a move. Apparently Chris Martin is going to Fulham.
Not having it haha, all about opinions though! He looked decent at the Euros too
