Liverpool have made an £11m offer for Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund's 17-year-old winger. (Tony Barrett) £11m for a 17 year old? Don't even know how good he is, I've never heard of him.
Breaking News: Liverpool submitting player registration details with FA. Liverpool are currently in the process of filing new player registration documents with the FA. Before you get excited, it is not for a new player but new player details. Alberto Moreno has recently filed for a change of name deed and these details need to be updated with the FA. "With all the criticism I have received lately, Herr Klopp told me to reinvent myself. So I took the decision to change my name to honour someone who I have been trying to emulate in the art of being a total dick. I will henceforth be known as Alberto Mourinho. This also massively helps out all of the UK based, thick-as-**** 'expert' pundits and commentators who have been calling me Mourinho since I arrived here." "I originally wanted to change my name to posthumously honour my favourite musician who sadly passed earlier this year. But my agent advised me that 'Prince Alberto' would not be a well received name."
How long ago is it since Klopp left Dortmund? About fifteen months isn't it? Surely he'd know the lad?
Has Klopp ever brought a lad through from this age? Serious question, I know he has taken a lot of players in their early 20s and made them into stars but I really don't know if he has done it with youth team players (there could be some in the Dortmund and Mainze teams that I didn't realise came through the ranks with him).
Very talented youngster. £11m would be a steal but still doesn't address our key weaknesses. If he reaches his potential, could become the best player America has ever produced. Great marketing as well
Joe Hart being linked with Sunderland loan. City to pay 70% of his wages. They really do want to get rid of him. I wonder if he stood up to the manager over something and now he has to go to prove who is boss.
Ive heard of him but never seen him. He is very highly rated and probably klopp and thecteam know all about him. Im happy about this one.
Yeah, signing a hugely talented youngster is always a good thing but I would rather we look at plugging the gap at left back instead of shunting Milner there for the whole season.
Liverpool have made an £11million move for Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic. Express Sport understands Jurgen Klopp has returned to his former club with an offer for the 17-year-old winger. Dortmund are reluctant to sell Pulisic, who was brought to the club when Klopp was in charge, but he faces real competition for place at the Westfalenstadion. Liverpool's boss rates the youngster highly though, and feels Pulisic would be an ideal addition for now and the future. Stoke have also made a similar approach, but if the Reds miss out this summer they will continue their pursuit.
azar Markovic will be allowed to leave Liverpool before the transfer window closes, the Liverpool Echo report. It is claimed Markovic is not in Jurgen Klopp's plans this season and the Reds boss is happy to sanction a loan move for the Serb. Klopp rubbishes Henderson exit talk Jurgen Klopphas dispelled any questions about the future ofJordan Hendersonby insisting: “If I had any doubt, he wouldn’t be here.” Amid claims of Spurs interest, there were strong suggestions that Reds boss Klopp was not impressed with his form and fitness, and may be prepared to sell him. That tallied with fan unrest and criticism but last night the German dismissed speculation by flatly denying Henderson was on the way out. “I see him every day in training so if I was doubting him he would not be here,” said Klopp emphatically. “I like this player and he is very important for this club. There is absolutely no doubt.” The Liverpool skipper endured a miserable season of injury last year, which threw his Anfield career under a harsh spotlight, writes David Maddock.
