I have to say i have been thinking on what guardiola has done lately with full backs and wingers If lfc had a real lw then that system with milner at lb wuld be ideal. Slot in at midfield when we have ball with the lw wide... Guardiola has a 4 back behind ball and 6 up formation. The two full backs end up in midfielder positions with the controlling midfielder... works with lahm at bayern but not with city backs However klopp has implemented quite a different system with coutinho firmino and mane. Mane has created all his assists from rw but hes been floating along with the others so the full backs must provide our width. Its quite interesting seeing the contrast.
