Haven't been on here for a while. Now at SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED POSTS about fcuk all!! You have to smile #gallowshumour
I think you'll find that's incorrect. We've discussed bikes, cars and all sorts whilst we wait and wait and wait.
Phelan on transfers "We have agreed fees with clubs for players. We just have to pursue those before the deadline. We need as many as we can get. We talked about six, it may be more or it may be less." [New signings] won't break up what we've got here. We have a special understanding. They have to understand why they would come here and what the club means to the people. We have to be real. We have to get football players in but they cost a lot of money. We are ready, if we can press the right buttons, to do some deals. Not ruling out a deal for Ryan Mason.
Do we know who is doing the negotiating? Common perception is all parties have to agree on any acquisitions or sales but I'm wondering who is physicaly doing it? Basically, I hope it isnt Ehab 'agree a fee and then move the goalposts as they're about to sign' Allam.
Can't remember who said it .. may have been Phelan .. but the first one will be the most difficult .. get one on board then the rest will follow

While I hate Ehab as much as most, did he not negotiate the deals for some of our top signings (Hudds, livermore, Dawson, long, jelavic, Ben arfa, Rameriez ect...)? I think the state of the club at the moment is the issue for not getting in players, not so much the.actual negotiations in terms of wages ect. We desperately new new owners and Allems to make a joint statement explaining position and confirming Phelan as manager to start attracting players
Long isnt a great example, he ****ed that up meaning we ended up signing him much later than we should have.
City in for Chambers Hull City are one of several clubs hoping to land Arsenal defender Calum Chambers on a season long loan. Chambers has been told by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger that he can go out on loan despite the club's current defensive injury crisis. The 21-year-old was part of Arsenal's back four that conceded four goals in their Premier League opening day defeat to Liverpool and was dropped for the 0-0 draw with champions Leicester City last weekend. Chambers, who scored in the 4-3 defeat to Liverpool made his Premier League debut for Southampton at the start of the 2013/14 season before he moved to Arsenal the following summer for £16m. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...tory-29657396-detail/story.html#ixzz4IQtdUIze
It puts a jinx on us signing anyone if we talk about transfers on here. Any news of sheds or fishing?
Can't be arsed to get into pedantic type arguments, your right it did not say the deal is done apart from FA approval. It did say on the 9th June the deal could be completed next week, who knows maybe the Americans had already been to see the FA. There was a degree of certainty about the talks with the Americans which could been seen as being equally as certain as the talks with the Chinese are.
