Don't believe Hart is world class - his recent performances for England have been embarrassing. **** me that goal Iceland scored was like a dad playing with his kids in the garden and letting them score.
Just watched Zlatans overhead v England, made Hart look very amateurish, can't remember if he was in goal for the other 3 of Zlatans goals

Just a question that's probably already been asked, if the takeover probably wont be confirmed until after deadline day, what's the incentive for the Allam's to spend money when the sale price is already decided? I heard one of the Chinese guys is on the ground at City, but nevertheless, the takeover isn't 100% guaranteed so why would the Chinese start investing money until it is? I feel like we're in a **** position no matter what?

As has been said, companies don't just shut down during a takeover. Inventory is bough and sold, operations continue. The motivation from both parties is that this is something that one of them will end up running one way or the other. I would think that with the 100m of PL money we could afford to use Hull City money without the Allams or Chinese dipping into their own pocket.

Player purchases should make absolutely no difference to the sale price, the Allam's are not paying out of their own pocket they are using company/club funds so the value of said company/club hasn't changed.

From what it looks like, it's more about what type of player will be inherited by the new owners which may be holding up transfers, the Nikolic deal which seemed almost a certainty last week, died a death early in the week & now maybe better players are being looked at, whether with football club money or not.
There's no point bringing in 5 or 6 players if they aren't good enough, we may as well use the kids otherwise!

Yes, but they need to be a free agent when the window 'ends' not when it 'opens'

I think he's referring to the fact that if Utd released Pogba on the 1st of September we couldn't approach to sign him & get him to play before January. However if Pogba had been available since last summer then we could sign him anytime before January & as long as we had space in our 25 man squad, he could be added to it & play as soon as we wanted!

New contracts for players are most welcomed, especially as the previous regime (is it too early to say that?) was never in a rush to offer them.

Im hoping we see some transfer activity today... im not fussed about getting playing signed in time for the utd game, but not many players are signed on a weekend and then we have a bank holiday.... so just tuesday and wednesday to get 5-6 players through the door. It's not looking too good is it..
