New restaurant opening next to Butler Whites, could be shaping up to be pretty good round there. I've been to the Leeds version, it's good. A couple of years ago everything here was BBQ / meat and now its all tapas, you cant bloody move for the stuff:

New tapas restaurant to dish up in Hull
26th August 2016

By Stephanie Balloo - Business Reporter

A NEW tabanco-style tapas restaurant and sherry bar offering gourmet Mediterranean tapas with a Yorkshire twist is set to open its first site in Hull.

Ambiente Tapas will be opening on Humber Street next door to Butler Whites which opened earlier this month.

The independent restaurant - which will be serving up everything from paella to patas bravas - already has two sites in the centre of York and one in Leeds.

The company say that each restaurant is unique and offers something different from the next. It has been confirmed that there will be an outside dining area, however, Ambiente have yet to reveal the full plans for their Hull site.

Butler Whites and Ambiente are the first of many new businesses to be operating on Humber Street as part of the area's £80m regeneration

Went down and around the marina yesterday looks really smart and the open air theatre is ace. The only issue is behind the C4Di building they have created a hot spot for spotty kids and skateboards. Which will **** up all the edging stones in no time with their bodacious 'grinds' man and jumps 'dude'.

Other than those delinquents it's looking deserving of its surroundings.

Also walked round the area on Friday and was impressed with the outdoor theatre and surrounding area. My only concern would be the dry dock over which the decking is built is not and has static water in the bottom with what looked like a covering of grasses. Surely a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
