Rick@HullCityLive 1h Lord knows what this means for transfers. Hear a lad turned us down yesterday in favour of a more stable club in Syria! #hcafc This doesn't sound good.
Whilst Abel to Villa could still happen, common sense would dictate that it's not going to. Firstly, there has been little other than an article from a few months ago coming from Abel's camp to suggest he wants to leave, unlike the Diame situation when he left at possibly the low point with Bruce having just gone and the US takeover down the ****ter, we're now on the verge of a takeover completing with 6 points in the bag. You'd like to think also that any new owners would be reluctant to sell any of our players at the moment given the current squad situation, even if they have a striker lined up, they'd be sensible to keep him until Jan at least to make sure they dothe best they can to protect their investment. Finally as OLM mentioned, Villa have openly bid for Valencia and not Abel!
And someone here was posting it like it wasn't a joke, which is why I said it was bullshit. I wasn't the one posting it. This twitter person isn't much of a Hull City fan either if he wants to make out nobody would come here.
You obvious aren`t aware of Rick, die hard City fan and reports on a lot of the matches while travelling around the country following them, I suggest you go have a lay down.
To me it isn't, he's making out that nobody would come here, which is just stupid. Syria's hardly a joke either.
It's hardly the most outrageous comment I've seen made about the situation. And unless high profile players follow him on Twitter I'm not sure it'll impact incomings.
Our money should have a hell of a lot more impact. I just get sick of us being made out to be a joke, in my opinion it helps to move past that.
Kinell. Car crash thread this morning. Although it does remind me of the time my Missus, whose geographical knowledge is laughable and whose sense of direction is worse, (I once noticed when she was driving through France, following my crystal clear directions, that she had L and R written on the back of her hands), blithely announced to all her workmates last year that we had booked a lovely hotel in Syria for a fortnight, where hiring a car, touring the mountains and looking forward to exploring such a beautiful and peaceful country. When questioned about the accuracy of her destination she was insistant. Syria it was. Syria was where we were going. When I corrected her that evening - for Syria read Cyprus - she merely said that she'd always got those two islands confused. As I say, Geography, not her strong point.
So he's beyond any criticism? Can't see Hernandez going until we get at least two other good strikers lined up for certain moves. Probably not going whatever happens, I don't know how people get this authority on twitter.
Just a thought, what if they haven't been after Abel at all and he's only posting that to cover his tracks when Abel doesn't move? I've had a few people say he's full of ****.
Why don't we all just ignore people who put rubbish info out there? How is he gonna know that we're after 14mil? Villa aren't gonna tell him and the same goes for us! Attention seeking! I may as well say " city are holding out for 16 mil " it's a load of ****e until a deals done! And if he goes we'll all know soon enough if it was Abel wanting a move or us wanting to sell? And for how much? How many pages are we up to now?
