That's a couple strange links to left backs now. Either journos aren't aware of our positional needs, or we're not convinced that Targett is ready.

A cheeky bid to ManU for Marcus Rashford wouldnt be a terrible idea. Jose would be mad not to have a hungry little goal scorer in his squad but he's looking consigned to under23s. Have all the game time you want down here Marcus.

Doubt it, he was on the bench against us and they have a Europa programme coming up

It is annoying that some of this twitter names leave you thinking who the hell is that? @s04 is apparently FC Schalke 04. Why aren't they Schalke04 so we all understand?

Because it's fashionable. Even in these days of vast communicative ability, people want to keep news and information to their own little niche. It's utterly stupid, but entirely human.

Claude on Cuco: "In the next few days, we will see what happens in the market - whether players move or not. Players coming into Southampton or players moving out, we will see."

Claude says he likes Jay a lot, he's a good player with a lot of qualities but he needs to play. We will decide if it's best to do that here as a substitute player that rotates but isn't always guaranteed to start or whether it's best he goes to another English club to start matches a lot more often.

My only concern with him going to Baggies is that I don't think he is guaranteed as many games/starts as if he went to a decent Championship side. If game time is what we want for him, that is still a very competitive league and I'd be happier seeing him at a Brighton (for example) than a WBA where Pulis will be under pressure if they don't do well and he reverts to 8 at the back and Rondon up top.

Jay needs games to get up to speed. During those games, he may not be at top level. Better get there in a slightly lesser league than risk not being picked for not performing. If he ends up on their bench, he may as well be on our bench.

Just my opinion on that.
