After weeks of negotiations, assessing the value of the club and its assets, drawing up a contract, having a legal team go over the contract, amending the contract, only for the boy wonder to say hang on chaps were buying another player and the clubs worth 4 million more now.

I'll be honest, I'm hoping there's nothing in this either! I'd be nervous about signing a player with two cruciate ligament injuries in the same knee. It's not career ending, but that knee is definitely compromised.

 

His knee would be fine until he played his first game for us....
