He went to Rochdale in League Two and scored 19 in 40, got them promoted and has since scored 8 in 11 at Brentford, stepping up doesn't seem to be an issue for him.
Had a couple of long term injuries too, by the look of things. Brenford paid 750k for him, so we'd be looking at few quid for an unproven. That said, Brenford, these days, seem like an excellent club for developing lower league talent: Moses, Gray, Judge et al Wasn't Griggs there too?
The only time I'd heard the name Will Grigg before the back end of last season when he was on fire was when he scored two against Man Utd for MK, even cheating one in past De Gea. Him and Bennick Afobe the strike force that night.
Agreed. The negotiations must be furious if they are ongoing. I bet the allams are increasing it a million a day if they've got the fish hooked.
That's the figure that was thrown about a couple of months ago. I think we'll end up paying between £10m and £12m.
Where have you seen their asking price is £10m? I've seen £14m coming up more than £10m. Obviously if that's all they're asking for, we won't pay more.
For a Spurs player who is in their first team, has been capped by England and is still fairly young at 25 I think it's probably worth it.
Hogan has had a few injuries. But he played for Stocksbridge Park Steels like Jamie Vardy, so he's bound to rip it up in the premier league!
I'd probably agree. He's a little more advanced than Livermore at the time we signed him. So an extra £2-4m for him in the current market is about right.
