Would love that to be true. A few people on here don't seem to rate Zaza and can't forget that rotten penalty, which I think is a tad unfair. Watched the two games Juventus played against Sassuolo the season before Juve signed him and then any time he played for Juventus he generally looked dangerous and added something in attack. He was always going to be up against with Dybala, Mandzukic and even Morata didn't usually start.

I've not seen him play much, penalty aside, but I'm happy that a Juve fan is happy if we sign him. :emoticon-0148-yes:

He's a tireless worker, does a lot of pressing and harrying from the front. Similar to Mandzukic in that way, great in the air, quite quick and very physical.

Looks like he enjoys a scrap. Him and Long could have some CBs in tears with their niggling!! :)

From the video and your description he looks and sounds absolutely ideal for our needs.

The hard working aspect is a welcome attribute and especially so for our press. In the diamond, a good bit of pace/mobility is required to be able to make it work and lastly he brings that natural physicality we've lost from the departures of Pelle and Wanyama.

Long has a tremendous leap on him, but he struggles to really shield and hold the ball up. Zaza could hopefully provide an outlet.

As much as I enjoy watching these small technical players, this is still the English league and we look in danger of being bullied out of a few games

I wish! He's my favourite player of all time. It's strange for me that Southampton are now linked with Juventus players and are actually one amazing season (or one disastrous Champion's League group stage for Juventus) away from playing in the same competition as them. Supporting both teams when the gulf between them has done nothing but decrease in size in recent years is a great feeling. However it is still a huge gulf and will always be so. Genuinely excited by the link (however likely or substantial) with Zaza - and just think, the time Pelle spent fixing his hair Simone could be scoring <laugh>
 
Romanian news reporting Stanciu all but done, he may not even play tonight!

That's great news. If we signed Zaza as well then we'd have a new 10 and a new striker. My god...maybe the club knew what they were doing after all.....who would have thought it after the disastrous last few seasons. :)

I'm not sure how it started really or even when. I think my support of Juventus actually predates my support of the Saints but don't get me wrong, if Southampton were playing Juventus I would 100% be behind the Saints. I love Italian football and the passion, the loyalty, the history. It's always interested me and I was drawn to supporting Juventus. My friend told me that I only support Southampton so I can tell people that I'm not a glory hunter haha.
