Trever Berbick a Canadian/Jamaican boxer
Defeated Ali in his lase ever fight
Lost his world title to Tyson
Well done, duggie. <applause>

Berbick beat Ali in Ali's last ever fight, and Tyson won his first world title, the WBC, from Berbick a handful of years later. Berbick was murdered by his nephew in 2006. Over to you.

Double catch then
According to sports sites born and raised in Welwyn and then moved to Essex
But you are correct yorkie

Our first season in the old second division in 1969 ? I remember that we scored our first league goal in the 6th match - a Keith Eddy penalty against Sheff Utd. Our first match was against Bristol City at Ashton Gate but I can't remember what was special (other than being our first match at that level).

I'm not sure that the opposition didn't score in those first five matches though - which is how the question was worded...

  • Aug 16 1969 … Watford 0, Bolton Wanderers 0 – Vicarage Road’s first Division 2 fixture. There was no Watford goal in a League match, home or away, until the sixth game of the season.
Yes... you win <applause>

Cheers Yorkie. OK. a political question, the issue of an unconditional basic income for every citizen has been discussed on our political threads - but who was the first leader to actually implement such a scheme, where, and how much was the income for each person ?

Jeremy Corbyn, UK in 2020, £25K?

Couple of clues needed here ? It was initially paid to every man woman and child equally. This was the case for about 70 years (during which time the amount doubled) - after this it was only paid to those in need.

If it's been going for more than 70 years, I guess you're not talking about the Alaskan one introduced in 1982...

It still provides Alaskan residents with, currently, an income of $20,000, and is paid for out of their oil fund.

Unfortunately BB. the case I am thinking of was the very first of it's kind, and is very definitely historical. All much, much earlier, and, unfortunately, no longer the case.

Time for more clues. The leader was also the 'first' of his kind. There are some people around today who want to recreate this state - though they are too blind to understand what it was about - leading to disastrous consequences.
