I believe Chamakh is still a free agent...
Wessi Hoolahan is Irish and 34...and your point is?Jordan Rhodes he's Scottish and 26 ?
He would fit the bill as a last minute panic buy .Wessi Hoolahan is Irish and 34...and your point is?![]()
That would seem to be pretty much the direction we're heading in, sadly. He would fit the bill as a last minute panic buy .

Jordan Rhodes he's Scottish and 26 ?
He would get goals. If we look inept going forward, I'd fancy our chances with Rhodes coming on, rather than Lafferty or Morris.Though Rhodes wouldn't be my first choice, he is a proven striker in this league and could probably do a job in the PL as well. the downside is that he wouldn't put in the work that Jerome does, but at 26, he could be a good move for £9-10m. I would rather him than McCormack at £14m.
Reading have signed Liam Moore and Tyler Blackett in the past few days. 2 very promising young defensive talents. Showing how a Championship side should get things done.
I agreeThat's one way to get your post count up General, put an answer on repeat loop and let it roll. But, no, not yet, if ever.

Inept? But they've identified a whole 500 strikers! Then put them in a list, then put that list in order (that took two months) then started at the top.You mean like not using an inept recruiting team ?
Yes, I'd be very happy with Rhodes. Near as you can get to a guarantee of goals in this division.Though Rhodes wouldn't be my first choice, he is a proven striker in this league and could probably do a job in the PL as well. The downside is that he wouldn't put in the work that Jerome does, but at 26, he could be a good move for £9-10m. I would rather him than McCormack at £14m.
I didn't know this was an actual story! I just thought a couple of people bought his name up as an idea.

I'd snap him up. I still think we'd need one more. But he has goals written through him. He's a real poacher.
