Think today showed how much we need an Mbokani type striker! Yes Jerome's goal was well taken but 2nd half we needed a striker who can hold the ball up, who, when we are hoofing it, the ball will stick to him and allow others to join in the attack. Mbokani was immense at that last season... that was the reason i couldnt understand Jerome playing more games.

I know he might not want to come or we can afford him... but we need to be looking at players of his ilk.

At this stage pushing the boat out for big Dave would be a very shrewd move on our part.
Fannying around looking for a bargain has failed dismally thus far.
Other than our big telly we haven't used any of the Redmond cash and I'm sure we could cover his wages and possibly buy him

Well, other than the £8m on Pritchard and £2.5m on Canos, as well as sign on fees for McGovern and Jones, that is. Not much of the Redmond money left after that, so it's really about how much we have in the budget for this window.

More than nearly every other team in the league other than Newcastle, Villa and Wolves. Pretty much.

Rhodes to Wolves?
Mbokani to?
Wells wants to stay
Assombalonga very quiet
Anybody for Chris Martin?
Anybody out of contract worth looking at?
Anybody for 4-4-2? One big striker with one small quick one?

Either that or someone we've not even heard of ..........

Knowing our transfer policy at the moment it will be a 16 year old wonderkid who plays for Gravesend Reserves at the moment but will be the pooch's choggles in 2023.

And won't that be a great year!! THE YEAR OF THE CANARY!!
