You posted as I was writing a similar thing, good luck for your season, without new players I think you will need a lot of luck.

Cheers .... We know this can't last without new blood, but what I hope it does is further galvanise a strong bond and commitment that the players have, this bodes well for a great CORE of a team. Have no doubt our club is in a state but we are giving ourselves a fighting chance and no one at the club except our players maybe where expecting 6 points for the first two games so YES we are over the moon with it but feet are still firmly on the floor.

You do seem to have some decent posters here though. Cheers.

We had to get wide and behind them and deliver good balls into the box. Sadly we failed to do that and were relying on short one pass football in the middle of a crowded defence.
Fernandez, Routs and Siggy were off their games so just hope we get into our stride for the next couple of games after Tuesday.

Most of us are down to earth on here, and we say it as we see it. And we have a lot of affection for your club truth to be told, you were our opponents in the most important game in our recent history when we beat you 4-2 to stay in the league system. We see ourselves like you guys as a small club that fought through the leagues to get here.

I'm sorry you guys are having a mare with new owners, we have new owners as well so we know how you are feeling, ours appear to be better than yours right now, I'm sure things will work themselves out. Good luck :)

Awful today and it was one of them where you could feel it coming from the middle of the 1st half. The players didn't look up for it and that is a worry. Felt like nothing had changed from the low points of last season. No pace in the play in midfield so get the balls wide. Didn't happen enough. Barrow and later Montero were doubled up on so the full backs needed to create the overlap. Whether this was our fault or Hull's brilliant defensive display, I don't know. Bit of both maybe.

On the players, I thought Naughton played well, possibly Amat and Cork played better 2nd half. Fer was poor, as he was last week but was glossed over because he scored the winner. The rest didn't look like they were ready for the game and played it at a friendly pace and in a game that we needed a win from. Very disappointing.

I was concerned when these fixtures came out but thought, knowing us, we'll win the 1st 2 and scrape a point or 2 from a couple of others and it won't be too bad. With this run that we've got coming up this defeat could be huge.

I'm thinking now that I wouldn't have been happy with a point before the game but some games you've got to see that it's not going your way so take what you can get.

Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin: "I am disappointed. We did not deserve to lose today. We attacked for 90 minutes but not brilliantly. We have to play quicker but that is not easy against a compact team. It was a difficult game for us."

I'm obviously delighted with that, from our perspective it was the perfect away performance, though I can see how you guys were extremely frustrated by that, I completely get it as I've seen many an away side come to the KC and do it and it's incredibly annoying to watch your team visibly boss possession but struggle to create anything clear cut. I will maintain that we will get relegated if we don't bring in some bodies, but at the moment I wouldn't change a thing about the starting 11.

As for Swansea, I think you'll be okay, but from the outside looking in I'm a little surprised you don't start both Barrow and Montero, I thought Barrow was a menace all game who Robertson struggled to cope with, and Montero looked a threat too.

We did okay until we got in the final third, we have a new man up front who is 6ft5in and need to use him effectively. Basically we were passing it around the midfield and we pissed about it and left him isolated unable to do anything because of lack of service.

I think I said about 10 minutes before you scored that you probably would win it, and to be frank you deserved it as we were piss poor at finishing. We had I think 2 or 3 good chances to score, we have to make sure we take our chances. The disappointing one for me was from the corner, again we had a goal from one.

Still we'll probably go on and beat Leicester in our next league game now ;)
