Unless klopp is losing patience with sakho's off field issues but I think he's pretty settled with the 4 plus Gomez as a young option.

Firmino is clearly ahead of him as well.

Ings might be 5th in line but that includes Studge who is match fit only slightly more often than me and Benteke who is not wanted .
Do worry that he will be loaned out , Benteke sold , Sudge obviously injured then Origi twists his ankle leaving us with just Firm.

PS have we signed a LB yet :steam:

I think the club has decided to wait on a LB after losing out on Chilwell and Klopp/the club thinking 20m is too much for Hector, looks like we will stick with moreno/milner/sakho there until jan at least :(

also Mane can play the same "false 9" like firmino, just to add one to your forward list.

Klopp won't be held to ransom and will adapt within the existing squad, either through coaching a player that usually plays in that position or converting one from another, rather than spend what he sees as excessively

    Time will tell <whistle>
Klopp seems to like the foxtrot approach to transfers .... quick, quick, slow

    5th Choice me thinks..
Studge, Origi, Firmino and Mane can play up top too if required, Ings isn't going to get ahead of them, unless he's pulling up tree's in training!
Even if/when we sell B&B, Ings could well go out on loan.

Klopp has defended Moreno.. Said he knows we only have one specialist in that role though.

Ings's injury has contributed to his problem If he was not injured for a long time last year,
he might be able to prove his ability.

That is the attributes of good manager, if everyone is putting him down, he cannot do it publicly.

This pretty much and im glad for it, if klopp thinks he can do without or develop someone else until jan or believes certain players are not worth 20/40m or whatever then we should back his decisions. id be much more calm during games if milner plays lb over moreno at the moment for sure.

im trying to be patient as i have no doubt Kloppo will have us up there challenging in time, he is here for the long haul after all and has never failed to build a good team who can challenge at the top so im just gona bite my lip and hope sakho/gomez/milner can fill in for the cataclysmic Alberto until he can find us a decent LB as for me its the one stand out weakness we have in the squad now that skrtels gone, Still have to see on if Karius will be a better stopper than migs in time but that still possibly another weakness that stands out.

other than that we look good enough in midfield and upfront to really cause some damage to teams, soon as we can plug our leaky defense, in particular improve our set piece defending then i think we will be there near enough.

Interesting, I'm going to jump to a massive conclusion and suggest we're still in the market for a LB..
Think our incomings haven't finished for this Window..

He has to, i dont know what the lads confidence is like at the moment but if thats a confident Moreno id hate to see the flipside <laugh> the fans are on his back as are the media so klopps gotta have his back through fear of making him worse :D

mate lb and gk are the areas where we're still very iffy for me, lb v obviously with a muppet and a kid, and gk because we all know the monger's a fragile little child and karius is unproven in england then we've got an oap there to sit em both on his knees and tell stories of goalkeeping of yore ... cm/dm where i see lots of people moaning i think we're decently covered in, the money needs investing more urgently elsewhere

Not gonna claim Karius as the saviour.. yet, the lad needs time in goal to prove himself (or not).
If I was Klopp, I'd at the very least get another LB in to challenge Moreno and look to get a DM who's an upgrade on Lucas, who will also most likely be gone by the end of the Window.
The rest of the team/business we've done over the Summer, I like!

For the moment they are the stand out weaknesses in our squad.

If (i dont think we are) we are still in the market for a LB, thats all well and good but it has to be the right player above all else, a player that improves us firstly, so that means an improvement on Moreno, certainly defensively at least, but also one who can offer what Klopp demands going forward too, if they have that player in mind then good, go get him! if not i dont want to see any gambles. so im happy to wait in that respect.

I felt Flanno could have offered us something in that role this season so was disappointed to see him go on loan yet he is at a prem team and i do believe theres some kind of playing time guaranteed and a recall option, also makes me think that klopp wouldnt leave us so short in lb without having a plan or a player in mind, but its been very quiet on that front <laugh>
