It's a lot easier to sign a new contract when you're playing CL football, and you've just won the PL.

And at 25 years old, there's still very much the option of leaving for a bigger club in a year's time - with this new contract just providing a very healthy pay rise (I would suspect) for the intervening 12 months.

Not really sure what Blackmore is tweeting for. Not any sort of comparison.

MAHREZ SIGNS NEW DEAL

Big news for Leicester City fans as Riyad Mahrez signs a new four-year deal with the Premier League champions, keeping him at the King Power until 2020.

There is NO buy-out clause in his new contract, according to Sky sources.

I have no idea why people say this. He will not be at the KP in 2020.
 
Thats huge for Leicester, good on them. That'll settle the team having Vardy and Mahrez on new contracts. Nice to know the top 4 can't gut competitors at will.
