    Palace's criteria for paying the add on £7m were apparently as below according to the GUARDIAN

    The report claims an additional clause was inserted that would only be paid if Palace qualify for the Champions League, with Benteke playing in 70 per cent of the fixtures and scoring 20 goals in the process - it’s pretty unlikely that all three of those things happen in a single season anytime in the future.

    Would you expect a £32m international striker to play in 70% of games (if fit) for a team like Palace...........Definitly
    Would you expect a £32m international to be capable of scoring 20+ goals in a season...............Oh yes
    Could a 20+ goal striker push a team like Palace up into top4....................See Leicester for details

    Seems to me your club value him at £32m but have absolutely no faith he can perform like one, irrational really :emoticon-0100-smile
