According to Alex Crook, Man Utd are to offer Rojo in exchange for Fonte. Would you take that? We were in pole position to sign him before Man Utd's panic buy of him a couple of seasons ago?

If it is going to be United, we know money is I real issue to them, and to be fair, any potential signings for us will not revolve around money received for Jose. United have a bloated squad, and I genuinely think there is the potential to cherry pick a decent player as part of any deal-we may as well get what we can out of it.
Lastly, as Beefy mentioned earlier, I think it's crazy that Jose has kept quiet over all this apart from a couple of pictures on social media. I don't buy the whole head in the clouds thing-before the Euros, he was a model pro to many, and I'm sure at some point someone would tell him to wind his neck in as he is no Ronaldo. He knows he's worshipped by many, many adoring fans and to stay quiet is only fanning the flames on the bridges he is burning.

Think people are being a bit over the top regarding Fonte. He's 32, and will be 33 in a few months. He is being mooted for an unexpected opportunity to play for a top club, for a top manager of his own nationality, and perhaps qualify and play in Champions League and challenge for a title. Yeah, that's going to get his attention. No, I don't think we should be angry about it.
If he left I would be angry with the club (unless it was a huge offer) as opposed to Fonte. I'd be disappointed he didn't value us as highly as we do him, but if he wants to end his career in the top flight on the bench then so be it.
Mostly agree. He was a bit sneaky which is mildly distateful, but is there any other way to engineer a move away other than being sneaky? It's how things go nowadays.
He was, even in my cynical view, still the closest to a legend on the team. But now he's just a guy. I don't hate him and don't wish him any ill. But I'm keen to see him moved for +10m if we can do it.
We value him, sure. But, sensibly, we aren't exactly offering him a lifetime contract as a sign of our gratitude, either. He'd be the same player and the same person if he wanted that experience before he retires, for me.
