They've been talking about the different chain arrangement of the USA bikes....don't know what advantage it gives.
Joanna Rowsell-Shand was talking about this, saying the Brits might have a look at these bikes (not that we need any more of an advantage)! The chain set is on the left, which supposedly gives some help on the left handed tracks.
Indeed. Didn't know JR-S had said anything. I heard about them on the run-up to the Men's Team Pursuit. Personally, I can't see any advantage, though there is something in motorcycle frame and drive physics which rings a vague bell, so I don't exclude anything. I put it to a dead-keen cycling mate, who has done a fair bit of racing in his younger years, and who knows his cycle tech, and he reckons it's psychology only.
What a shame....and unnecessary to cut it so fine. Presumably Kenny in trouble because it is the GB man arguing.
