I have a feeling Hesketh could shine through this year. Even Koeman saw something in him prior to his injury. Could be the unexpected "Rashford" wildcard for us this season.
I think that Hesketh could get some time. I don't think he's going to step in and be a key player for us straightaway. We still need another high-quality attacker, full stop.

Will be tough getting these players in now, if we have to start fresh negotiations with new clubs with new players.
There will be players coming in, as there will be a meltdown. It will give the board little wriggle if things don't go our way at the start of the season.
Hopefully that doesn't happen, as a poisonous atmosphere at st Mary's won't help.

Almost definitely a different player.
Because the player I said we are trying to get over line, I know that the bid was ACCEPTED and the response
from the player was a green light and but it's not done, likely wrangling over terms. Presumably.
The poster above (Guan) could be talking about the 2nd player, as we are definitely in for 2, but I don't
expect that to exceed the fee paid for Dani Osvaldo, but this is football and we are in the closing stages
of the window and he may have different information

Trying to get my head around that quote. Is he saying neither of the players will exceed our transfer record, or just the player guan was chatting about?
Have no idea. But it makes sense, we wouldn't be juat talking to one player at a time.
On the bright side, if we're genuinely signing a good attacker, a central defender, and multiple highly-rated youngsters, the last couple weeks should be somewhat action-packed.

It isn't Tello. But i do have some bad news. The player's club have rejected our last offer, so the move looks dead. Guess they actually wanted to keep him, and weren't just jacking up the price. I regret I don't have better tidings, as I know it's not exactly happy on here at the moment.
Transfer Deadline Day might even be interesting this year!
