Focusing on Milner - quite clear that Klopp doesn't want him in a midfield or attacking position.

Could this be his last season at the club?
Bit of a wild interpretation of events there, Jimmy. <laugh> Could this be more down to your wishes than anything to do with evidence?
Rather more likely is that Klopp, like almost all of us on here, is well aware that Moreno isn't up to the job - he can't get hold of a replacement he likes the look of, so he decides to put in a player who he knows isn't perhaps ideal, but can do a disciplined and adequate job.
Tbh, I don't understand how you can't see the necessity for a club to have decent utility players.

Does he actually plan to start Milner over Moreno? We'll have to wait and see.

Suggestions are that he is merely a back up? And if Klopp really liked Milner, surely he would playing in his preferred position?

Not sure yet, but he can't be worse than Moreno so I imagine Klopp will give him a go there.

Milner is currently injured so he obviously won't be playing, I expect him to at least be on the bench once he's fit enough to play again

Tight ****ers, they just got £25m for Bolasie.

Glad we told them to **** off <ok>

yup thats a complete go **** of bid.

if you've spent your load and don't have it somehow cos you've bought crap like this:

Andros Townsend (16mil)

James Tomkins (crazy fee)

Steve Mandanda (free)

and having been handed something like oh 80mil in tv moeny you can't afford to cough up the required fee... just go by a crap CF.

I can see a very much par for the course pardew second season coming for palace... will be low in table.

By that logic firmino must be a **** attacking midfielder as klopp prefers to use him as a false 9. Also origi must be **** as a person who can't even get into his original position is being used as a striker.

Also coutinho is useless hes been shunted to left wing

The same logic suggests Klopp has full confidence in Moreno. <ok>

And I love the comparisons - because Firmino playing the number 10 role or false 9 is comparable to Milner playing wide attacking midfielder and left back. <ok>

Great that we're not willing to sell Benteke on the cheap but £30M was a decent offer for a player we clearly do not want. Are we hoping there's other interest from abroad maybe? Problem is he's an effective player in the right team and we will be improving another PL team by selling him. Ship abroad would be ideal and I'd take less than £30M if he was in another country and not able to come back and haunt us this season.

Id take 30m but 22 plus add ons isn't ideally. Those add ons might be completely unrealistic like he scores 30 goals a season or palace get top 6 etc.
