Moreno is ****e. He should ship him out and buy a new one as opposed to trying to 'create' one from a midfielder. Or maybe he shouldn't have loaned out Pug?
Tbh all we know is what the papers are saying. Klopp knows that's a major weak area that teams will exploit, I'm still optimistic we'll get someone... I'm just not as negative as some on here if it doesn't happen. We still have a far better squad than last season, and our offensive play when clicking is as good as anyones in the PL.
I can only hope for massive short term pain to force hands. Lb is a festering sore and will haunt us all season.
Simon Mignolet is not a title keeper otherwise we ought to have won it during the time of Brendan Rodgers.
Quite amusing to now see Milner as an emergency left back. Says it all about his place in the squad. Moreno was garbage in the first half but not many people have mentioned the fact that he improved in the second half. It was quite noticeable that he sat back a lot more which probably helped.
He also wasn't given the ball half as much, we played mostly down the right/centre and Arsenal didn't seem to exploit our left side
I found that very strange - most of arsenals chances came down our right and they neglected Moreno's flank.
Focusing on Milner - quite clear that Klopp doesn't want him in a midfield or attacking position. Could this be his last season at the club?
Or the fact that Klopp likes that he can play in so many different positions, the fact he plans to play Milner at LB over a 'proper LB' speaks volumes. I'm afraid Klopp likes Milner, so bad news for you I guess I think Milner will be here next season.
Everton and Sunderland have also been following the fortunes of Benteke, who is seeking around £120,000-a-week in wages. #lfc (Paul Joyce)
Does he actually plan to start Milner over Moreno? We'll have to wait and see. Suggestions are that he is merely a back up? And if Klopp really liked Milner, surely he would playing in his preferred position?
