Actually, checking it, they haven't actually spent anything at all yet, the fees for Cabella, Townsend and Wijnaldum cover all their purchases.
After looking at reports today, i would be happy if we saw Yedlin, Mariappa and Robson Kanu come in before saturday, i think any sort of reinforcements at this stage would be welcome and all three would come it at a very low cost. Could pretty much guarantee game time and should be able to afford wages and would give us a stronger bench for the swansea game. I still wouldnt change the starting 11 as it was the best performance i have seen as a team for some time from a Hull City side.
I'm not too sure he is, the deal seams to be stalling and i just had that feeling he might sign for us, We have a decent team but need depth and he would be certain to get minutes with us and also could get higher wages as we need players and could force our hand a bit. and surly after Saturday, who wouldn't want to play in a group of players like that.
Pretty sure both Yedlin & Mariappa are right backs? I guess Yedlin perhaps could play on the right wing in general (use that pace), but can't see us signing both.
And then rearranging all the teams in all the divisions into the correct order on my free league tables from Shoot magazine. Happy days.
OMG I loved them ... We got into League Division One along time before we did for real lol ... And won it one for sale here .. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHOOT-GOAL-FOOTBALL-LEAGUE-LADDERS-1983-84-/181513665484
There was also an FA Cup table too, the further a team got, the higher they moved up, in '86/87 we got to the 5th round & were beaten by Wigan 3-0, but we moved up a lot of places!
Some knob in the comments said that he won't cut it and he would rather get Crouch as he would give a better return. I class a couple of posters on here as borderline ******ed but that guy takes the biscuit.
They still exist and my 6 year old lad is constantly updating his every game. brings back memories of having my own!
I'm not a great fan of his haircut but at least he doesn't seem to be taking part in the "silliest haircut" competition that most footballers seem to think is important.
