Really doubt we would think about getting rid of Austin, either to Everton or on loan to QPR.

It's also telling that Koeman is after our players for cheap rather than spending that "war chest" of his.

I'm getting shudders thinking about Romeu being the only player in front of the defense in a diamond. 4-2-3-1 with Romeu and Clasie would be better, maybe Davis in the middle?

Can't see us going to united and being on the attack , if we do , well get torn to bits. So I'd have romeu and hoijberg sitting in and tadic and Redmond out wide davis in the middle with long up top on his own.

I appreciate that being negative about Saints unduly upsets some posters on here but I have had a nagging feeling since the fixtures came out that normal service will be resumed at Old Trafford. Remember the days of 4-1 or 5-1 defeats? We might be seeing one of those again.

Particularly as it is live on TV - anyone for a hattrick from a certain player? We usually do new players a good turn.

Football is strange though. We could just as easily do them over.

I agree I'm not really positive about the match, but at least it will be a horrible fixture out of the way quickly. Oh sod it 4-0 saints win!

We shall see, when looking at Puel as a coach. He has been on the end of some hidings, but we're yet to see him manage in a game like this in England, so it's tough to predict what he'll do and how pragmatic he is.
United are certainly going to have their tails up. Where is the match thread?
