No, the silver medalist congratulates the bronze winner and the gold medalist goes up to hug them both <hug> I'm not a Smith fan and he's obviously crying in disappointment rather than joy but you've just won a silver medal, man - smile!!

Ah okay. He still could have congratulated him at the end of the event though.

British Cycling getting revved up again. Easily the best country in the Olympics. I think Chris Hoy might get emotional. And that's helping to report on achievements from other sports. Claire Balding will definitely blub tonight. ;)

Now just one Gold from going ahead of China into second place in the medal table, GB approx 70 million...China 1.4 billion.

Edit...now second in the table....<bubbly>

Take away the USA's medals for swimming and GB would be top....The USA have won a massive 16 Golds and 33 medals overall just from that one sport, GB's medals have been over a range of sports.

With three more medals to come tonight - at least one gold - surely this is the best day ever for Britain in the Olympics :emoticon-0137-clapp

He is a dick head. I have met him out clubbing in London a few times. He thinks he is it.

But does he know who the ST/AM/LW/left-footed-attacking-player/transfer-recording-smashing-superstar/pacey-centre-back that we're going to sign is?

And will he tell us? :emoticon-0131-angel
