I agree. Bit of match day fun is good laugh if it doesn't get out of hand and this hasn't.

I would expect him to be. O'Brien is also ex-Pompey.

I too thought that an interboard thread would be good for both clubs. As others have said the banter hasn't been bad at all and has not got out of hand. Add to that there have been plenty of mods around to ensure that. Should the mood continue through to the match it will have proved a big success. However the big problem here is that we mods are encouraged to a point to get more interaction with other teams boards, of the right sort obviously. So we will promote any thread unless you say you do not want it so. This will also apply I guess, to any thread being upgraded to an article also. Remember if it is upgraded all comments are seen on newsnow screens! So you will have to say you do not want it up graded in any way!! Cheers BT

Have you got a six finger version for the Leeds fans or has this got "out of hand"?

I have to say that this game will be won in midfield.

I don't know much about the Leeds midfield, but snodgrass and howson played against us last time we played did they not? and were pretty quiet as they couldn't keep up with our tempo.

In Schneiderlin and Cork we have two under 21 internationals for their respected countries. I read somewhere that Cork was marked out of the game last season, i'd be more worried about Schneiderlin, as no doubt he is the best striker of a pass outside the prem, no joke. I said it the year we went down and he was only 18/19. I think Cork will play a more advanced role linking things up and Schneiderlin/Hammond depending on who plays will pull the strings from deep.

Lallana will tear you right back a new one, as will whoever is on the other wing. You could do the same to us, as like I said i don't know what your midfield is like.

It will be an interesting game, but don't expect too many goals. I'll go 2-1 to whoever wins the midfield battle.

I'm not going to get excited until when/if we score, as I have have too many memories of the Plymouth home game last season.

Combined threads with our opposition Fans.... Leed United Fans!

Firstly hello to all you Leeds Fans!

Cant wait for this weekend - been a long ...painful summer watching all other sports England / GB are crap at!

So SAINTS & LEEDS Fans - thoughts on the score line?

    My Prediction: 1-1

Alot of eye's will be on Saints for this one - sorry Leeds Fans! Therefore its paramount we make it a noisy one and get behind the lads through the game! I am predicting a Jose Fonte header as our only goal this weekend!

Leeds Fans - how many you bringing down??
Safe journey to /back United fans ...with or without at least 1 point! <whistle>

    Should be a cracking opener.
If a new central defender fails to materialise before the big KO, I reckon it will end up 3-2 to Leeds.
If the proverbial 'brick wall' signs, I think we will definitely get something out of the game.
