I am presuming he was on the bench on Saturday because of imminent transfer to Man Utd - is that the current perception back in UK? I have not picked up any news from here about an injury - happy to be correct.

Oh no! So are we all basically resigned to him leaving now? I took his "[HASHTAG]#wemarchon[/HASHTAG] together" Instagram post that he was committed and was staying, but then today I see the picture he put up of the Premier League trophy and can't explain it in any other way than he is going/wants to go to Man United.
This one is a bit like the Morgan transfer (not just because it appears to be to Man Utd). Really can't begrudge him his move as, like Morgan, if anyone has "earnt" the right to move on to one of the biggest clubs in the world it is Jose.
Not for that reason, no. He was happy to take a new contract in October and he should live with it.
If, however, we're being offered daft money (just in Euro winning team price premium) then we should take it. He's 33 and on the downslope.
